Mental status of a dog can vary from day to day. There can be many varibles in their enverioment daily that can affect their ability to coop with situations. But the genatic can not be change in the temprament. To see the basic instinct of a dog regarding temprament can be seen in many mental tests. There is not a possibility to change his basic instincts regarding his reaction from sudden things in the enviroment, but we can learn about his temprament and help him to control him self in many situation. There is not any test that is the best one or can give the best results. They are different and where made to evaluate different things in the dogs temprament. All mental test are done at a certain age and the age is giving up for every test and by that we can see what age is important in training and prepearing the dog for his daily life in the home or in his work.

MH ( Mental beskrivning, Swedish mental test  no passing or failing. Dog either finish his track or not.)

BH ( Mental test done before IPO 1 trial dog has to pass this if he fails he cannot take IPO working trial. )

ZTP ( Zuchtanglichkeits Prufung ( Breed suitability test for breeding )) Also given by VG 1 if passed.

Wessentest ( Mental test in Germany. All giants must go through this test if the are going to be shown or used for breeding.)

Temprament test ( Is done on puppies to see how the will most proberly behave in his adult life. Can also be helpful to choose the right puppy for your home. This test is done on neutrual ground where the puppy has not been and without his littermates and mother.)

Körung ( Is done in dogs adult life to see his mental status reflecting his working ability.) ( link is not completed is in progress )
